Banana Bread Matcha

Do you like banana bread? Be sure to make yourself one that’s matcha latte flavoured!

It takes a while to prepare and the taste is insane!

Ingredients:
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 200ml milk (cow’s or vegetable)
  • 1 teaspoon muscovado or brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 g Moya Matcha Traditional
  • 50ml lukewarm water
  • Ice cubes

Preparation:
  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  2. Cut the banana lengthwise in half. Place the banana halves on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes, until soft and slightly caramelized.
  3. Remove the baked banana from the oven and cool. We place the cooled one in a blender.
  4. Add milk, muscovado sugar and cinnamon. Blend until smooth.
  5. Pour through a strainer to get rid of lumps. Pour matcha into a bowl and pour lukewarm water (about 70-80°C).
  6. Froth the matcha with a chasen or milk frother until the desired foam is achieved.
  7. Pour ice cubes into a tall glass.
  8. Pour the prepared banana milk and gently pour the frothed matcha on top.
