Moya Matcha Club Loyalty Programme Terms and Conditions

I. General Provisions

1. The Moya Matcha Club loyalty programme (hereinafter referred to as the “Programme”) is organised by MOYA TEA LIMITED, based in UK, the owner of the online store www.moyamatcha.co.uk (hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser”).
2. The Programme is available to customers of the online store www.moyamatcha.co.uk who make regular purchases from the store and are registered in the programme.
3. The Programme is designed to reward loyal customers by collecting points (so-called “leaves”), which can be exchanged for discounts on subsequent purchases.
4. To participate in the Programme, the Customer must be logged in – only then the points will count correctly and will be visible on the Customer’s account.
5. The Programme applies to orders placed from May 20, 2025.

II. Definitions

1. Customer – an individual who has registered for the Programme and regularly makes purchases at http://www.moyamatcha.co.uk.
2. Points/Leaves – points awarded for purchases in the online store. 4 leaf is the equivalent of each GBP 1 spent on purchases.
3. Discount thresholds/Levels in Matcha Club – levels that the customer achieves by collecting a certain number of points. Thresholds are linked to discounts on subsequent purchases.
4. Discount – a discount that the customer can get on next purchases after reaching a certain point threshold.

III. Rules for collecting points/leaves

1. What will you receive Leaves for? For regular purchases at http://www.moyamatcha.co.uk, the customer receives leaves. For every GBP 1 spent in the online store, we assign 4 leaves. The leaves are charged automatically after the purchase and payment of the order.
2. How to use the Leaves? After collecting a sufficient number of leaves, the customer’s account is assigned a discount for subsequent purchases in the store. Discount thresholds/levels in Matcha Club are described later in the terms and conditions.
3. Validity of Leaves Points/leaves are valid for 90 days from the order in which they were earned. After 90 days of earning, points expire.

V. Terms and conditions of the discount

1. The discount is only available for use on the next purchase after reaching the corresponding point threshold.
2. To use the discount, the Customer must enter the discount code received automatically after the completion of the previous order. The current points balance and individual discount codes are available in the Customer Panel under the “Points and Rewards” section, in the “Coupons” tab. The discount may be used within 90 days from the date of its award.
3. The discount does not combine with other promotions or discounts offered by the store, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

VI. Terms and conditions of the discount

1. In order to participate in the Program, the Customer must register at http://www.moyamatcha.co.uk, create a user account and accept these terms and conditions.
2. Points under the Program are credited to the Customer for completed purchases after their fulfillment. In order for points to be correctly assigned to the user account, the account must be registered using the same email address that was provided by the Customer when placing the order.
3. If the user account is registered using a different email address, points accrued for previous purchases will not be assigned to the Customer’s account.

VII. Amendments to the regulations

1. The organiser reserves the right to change these regulations. The customer will be informed of any changes through the store’s website.
2. Amendments to the regulations shall become effective on the date of their publication on http://www.moyamatcha.co.uk, unless a different date is indicated in the text of the regulations.

VIII. Final provisions

1. Participation in the Programme implies acceptance of these regulations.
2. In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the relevant statutory provision and other applicable laws shall apply.

Example: How does the Moya Matcha Club loyalty programme work?

Maddie – a regular customer of Moya Matcha

Maddie regularly drinks matcha and places orders at http://www.moyamatcha.co.uk. Thanks to the Moya Matcha Club Programme , she collects leaves, which she converts into discounts on her next purchases.

Maddie makes her first purchases and reaches the first threshold of the club.

Maddie orders:

• Matcha Traditional (100 g) – 39 GBP

Total order value: 39 GBP
For this order Maddie receives 156 leaves.

🎉 Maddie crossed the first threshold and reached the “Matcha Beginner” level (100 leaves = 10% discount)!

➡ She will be eligible for a 10% discount on her next order.

Version A: Maddie makes a second purchase before 90 days have passed

After 30 days, Maddie places another order:

• Matcha Daily (100 g) – 22 GBP

Total order value: 22 GBP
Thanks to the Matcha Beginner level, Maddie gets a 10% discount:
22 GBP – 10% = 19,8 GBP

For this order she gets 79 leaves, so now she has:
156 (previous leaves) + 88 = 235 leaves

🎉 Maddie has surpassed the “Matcha Lover” level (200 leaves) and gets a 15% discount from now on!

Version B: Maddie makes a second purchase after 90 days have passed

Maddie forgot about the programme and makes another purchase after 100 days.

Since her first 156 leaves expired after 90 days, she starts collecting points all over again.

She places an order:

• Matcha Daily (100 g) – 22 GBP

Total order value: 22 GBP
For this order she receives 88 leaves, but since her previous leaves have expired, she does not get the discount.

Now he needs to collect 100 leaves again to return to the Matcha Beginner level and be eligible for discounts again.

Summary

✔ Version A: Maddie is shopping and regularly increasing her discounts
✔ Version B: Maddie waits too long, the leaves expire, and she has to collect them all over again
